team to face qpr in my opinion
Krul
Simpson Colo Williamson Santon
HBA Abeid Cabaye Jonas
Shola Best
doubt pardew will play anything but 442, but HBA looked good at left wing (miles better than obertan)
What team would you play?

Sammy Ameobi out for a number of months with a knee injury. Shame really as he was starting to make a real impact on the 1st team and he's another potential goal scorer we've lost whilst Ba is at the ACON.
Pete-Toon.
Believable1
Unbelievable2
What impact?
Agree1
Disagree1
Got to agree with the second comment what impact? Other than scoring a good goal against a Scunthorpe team that had run out of energy other than that he's lucked as good as his brother.
Agree0
Disagree0
Sammy just picks up the ball and runs down alleys that usually lead him to the corner flag and then loses the ball! shola at least used to score or do something when he was his age but i dont think sammy either ready for the premiership or just hasnt got it! sorry to say cos i think hes an honest player and like alot of others i took to him straight away cos of his brother but thats how i see it.....spenny mag

Your moaning because a 19 year old isn't good enough, he's still learning, will be a class player after he's had more first team experience.

Sammy ameobi out for several weeks with a knee injury. This means we have only 3 wingers, jonas, obertan and lovenkrands. This could persuade Pardew to go after Hoilett?

We will only sign a centre half that can cover full back positions, other signings will be replacements for outgoing players my source our transfer history

Richard Branson has his own island what makes you think he would want to buy the toon and have to spend alot of time and money hear I love Newcastle but if I had my own island I know were I'd be spending most if not all of my time, some fans need to wake up and move on with reality, big mikes here to stay to make as much money as he can simple as that, seriously there using the same tactics they've used for the last 2 windows most of the links are the same players ffs

Richard Branson buying the club wouldn't change the policy of the current regime. both are businessmen and will run the club like a business. I am very happy with the way the club is currently being run so at this stage, i'd only want Ashley to move on if the buyer was that of comparison to man city's owner. i.e throw lots of money into the club.
unfortunately, until we can cement european football, we will always be at risk of losing our best players to clubs above us.

But throwing lots of money at as club is what got us into trouble in the first place and made us an easy sale for MA and his gang. Look at Leeds! Like him or (more likely) loathe him, he's here to stay and with these new rules coming in regarding club's financial obligations just throwing money at teams will be a thing of the past. Maybe, just maybe, MA and co have put the club on a sound financial footing and when or if he comes to sell he sells a profitable well run team with no fan baggage and someone with morals will buy it. Then again, probably not, we'll see him the day after the sale ripping copper cables out of the locker rooms!

He's got the club running soundly but he isn't doing it for the good of the club though, he could have a bad few months and call in the money he loaned so are we really debt free? People can take what ever way they want but the way he's running the club is to make himself some serious cash, just look at the ground he's turned it into a giant sports direct advertising board, he's not our first owner to use the club as a way to fill his pockets but he might be the first one doing it legally, fair play to him on that front I suppose
