Apparently Pardews hope and incentive is that Newcastle finish above Manchester United this season.

Normally this would be a great statement and would mean that Newcastle United would finish in the top two in the premiership. One thing is for sure is Manchester United are having a pretty bad time at the moment, however for Newcastle fans it seems as they've been having a nightmare last five years under Ashley.

Pardew as we all do needs to look below us in the league because there are teams that will overtake us and a 10th
finish would just be a distant hope.

The excuses about injuries etc i'm now starting to pour from Pardews mouth as we all knew it would.

Despite what he says Newcastle United season seems to be over for most of the fans and we all know that however he keeps clutching at straws and pandering to Ashley with every single statement he makes.

Im obviously not most of the fans but the season is not over for me and I would be more than happy to finish above Man utd, though that is not my sole ambition

Vida you waste your time as Newcastle will never have a most of the fans syndrome & unfortunately there is and never will be a collective body if fans who will stand up to the Regime and some will accept whatever is thrown at them.

I am for what it's worth most of the fans group and yes this hilarious clutching at straws by Pardew to deflect the ridiculous decision not to buy any players even with surplus cash in the bank is just that a joke.
