I'm not sure if I want andy carroll back. He's a good player. £7-10m ok, but no more. If we did get him back and a proper left winger, we'd actually be able to play 4-4-2. Which is good because you always need a plan B. We could get a good rotation going, i'd like him back as long as it means we still play good football, ok with crosses and set pieces but no hoofball. But I would prefer benteke, who's been amazing but we'd struggle to compete for him.
If Colo leaves then this should be our transfer business in the summer:
Sakho-£8-10m
Carroll-£7-10m
Hoilett-£6m or Ince-£4-8m or Mertens £7m
Jores Okore £4m (So we can get rid of willo)

In my opinion to play 442, you need two strong, creative midfielders, two attacking, decent full backs. Two pacey, proper wingers, a target man and some who's very clinical.

That team is strong enough to make europa league, maybe even Champions league. I'd love to win a cup next year, so if we have strength in depth, we've got every chance. Llambias, pardew and ashley have held their hands up, they've admitted we didn't do enough business in the summer to cope with europe. Now they should bring in atleast 2 senior players every window.
Who in their right mind would pay £6m for Hoilett?
The further away Carroll is from our club the better we could get players a lot more talented than Carroll for £10m.

Someone who's very clinical? who's clinical Cisse (5goals) or Carroll (2goals)?
