why are there so many pro ashley supporters on here.i know hundreds of nufc supporters and not one has a good word to say about him.are they being paid to poison our minds.
even his wife doesnt like him

Believable2 Unbelievable3

EX-wife with a capital X

Agree0 Disagree0

Toon surpporters not f.c.b surporters we all want rid of him but hes not going to go quickly so we need to back the lads on the pitch because they represnt us and to keep the smbs quite

Agree0 Disagree3

Because some people can take the blinkers off and see the bigger picture. Answer me this, where would we be now if he hadn't taken over?

Agree3 Disagree0

Impossible to say as someone else could of took us over and cleared our debt.

Agree0 Disagree0

Can i say something i thought if you went to games you are a supporter if you just follow the team your a fan...to support is to put money in the clubs coffers

dose anyone think jose wouldnt be as gd for liverpool as he was for us a mean watching alot of the games last session and everytime jonas was taken off his games always started to go down hill think alot to do with jose playing so well was because of the partnaship him a jonas had wat do u guys think

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Ed wat do u think {Ed001's Note - I actually think Downing will be a good partner for him personally, he provides a lot of protection for a full back. Enrique needs that because his positional sense is awful, he reminds me of me nan when she was losing it, she used to just wander around aimlessly and that is what he does a lot of in my opinion. But he is going to be working with some excellent coaches, they even managed to make Glen Johnson look good defensively!}

Agree1 Disagree0

Jose + jonas had a great understanding, not sure if it will be as good with downing both left footers

Agree1 Disagree0

When was that then

Agree0 Disagree0

That whole glen johnson statement was not to say the truth think you have his time at pompey under harry that made him the player he is and in my eye jose will struggle at liverpool and canit see him linking up well with downing at all that just my thoughts {Ed001's Note - he was a terrible defender, I think you are blinded by the media bull that surrounds 'Arry. It was only when Steve Clarke came in at Liverpool that Johnson started defending properly.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Just been reading this and to first comment seems to hit the nail on the head cos if you think jose could not hold first team place until jonas came along until then he was second place to beye so think jose may not be the lef tback you thing he is

Agree0 Disagree0

Rumours going around West Brom have offered 7m for Haagland should we be after him??.

We desparately need one pref two strikers and a left back to replace Enrique, but I think we are very thin on the ground at centre half with Taylor and Williamson who are both injury prone.

Heard Pardope on the radio tonight saying the squad is stronger now. It cetainly is in midfield but defensively and upfront we are limited, and with 5 out and 5 in with Enrique almost gone and maybe Barton as well and numbers having increased.

Most say on a plus point the signings we have I think will be good but we are desperate for two decent strikers, hopefully Bendtner (not my favoured choice but realistic to our current aims) and Defoe we could have a good season. Both Bendtner and Defoe have points to prove to their current managers and both need regular games for their international futures.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

When you say 5 out you must be including Kutchi and Routledge and Sol so realistly thats only two out 3 with Jose

Agree1 Disagree0

Still adds up to 5 out
we only paid money for 2 players so we must only have brought 2 in

Agree0 Disagree0

Newcastle always try to sign top players, top players don't want to play for Newcastle. Newcastle is a mid table club. We must bevery happy with cabaye and ben arfa. I'm dutch and Eric Pieters is ?† very bad defender. H?® is very slow.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Hope you are right about us being a mid table side.i for one think a relagation battle is ahead

Plenty of people on here still quoting Cwarr off twitter as a "reliable source" please people stop, he is no more reliable than I am the pope, just to prove my point just look at the facts, so far the signings we have made; cabaye, marv, ba, abeid, obertan, did he mention any of them b4 local and national press?? NOPE, not one and to be fair, I even guessed at marveux, does that mean I am ITK?? NOPE Now lets lokk at the ones he got wrong, Zog; stated for many weeks the deal was done player was keen etc......WRONG. Gervinho; as with zog stated for weeks deal was done and even said club secretary Lee Charnley deserved all the credit......WRONG. Erding; albeit this could still happen but lets be honest its looking unlikely, again tho another Cwarr done deal......WRONG. Barnetta; again another one that I suppose could still happen, good old Cwarr said 5 weeks ago TB was in Newcastles Jesmond Dene hotel having talks and signing immently......WRONG. Finally, sorry to waffle on but im almost done, Taylor; Welsh full back was a Newcastle player nailed on according to a certain "Twit" hmmm guess what......WRONG. The point Im trying to get over chaps is no matter how much he claims to be good friends with club execs and a certain Kenny Shephard, he is a liar, he plays on the knowledge that we are the most passionate and loyal fans in the country (like a club owner we may well know) and obviously loves the attention, what you do with this info is entirely up to you but I hate seeing my fellow Geordies taken for mugs and Im afraid thats exactly what this person is doing. HWTL PD :)

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Well said hes an @rse

Agree0 Disagree0

Remember it is a rumor site 99% false

{Ed042's Note - Not making reference to this site. Cwarr, or Colin, is a lad based on twitter. As for original post, i`ll reserve comment at the risk of getting annoyed and filling this page with a rant ha lets just say I agree with you}

Agree0 Disagree0

Just to clarify my original post was not in anyway a swipe at this site, was refering to Cwarr007 profile on twitter. It infuriates me that the bloke has 4000 followers asking him about transfers, just hope some read the facts above and unfollow the attention seeking dweeb :) pd

{Ed042's Note - Haha wasnt directed at you mate, was at the post just above the ed note}

Filling the left back position is now pardew's top priority and should wrap a deal up for pieters within 48 hours.

11 Aug 2011 19:12:28
I can tell you now we are not signing anyone, barton and colo then jonas still to go aswell, big mess we are in, Ashley making lots of money out of nufc We need an owner who gives a bit back cause this isn't going to get any better. Get out of our club fatty

Believable6 Unbelievable5

Where you one of these numptys that were banging on about not signing anyone else after Ba, Marveaux, and Cabaye.............oh, and look who we've just signed Obertan. We will have a new left back in the bag, not even Ashley, Lambias, and pardew are that stupid.
I am also getting really bored of people stating that Ashley is making money from us, when that fact is he isn't, not yet anyway.

Agree3 Disagree5

How much is he paying you

Agree4 Disagree2

No answer to the arguement then, just a childish response. If you have an opinion at least you should at least be able to back it up with facts. But you can't, because there are none.

Agree2 Disagree1

People like you want to get a grip every year we make a transfer profit under this dictatorship nufc should have 50m+ to spend with the lack of transfer fees on the players weve signed.hereing carp like we wont spend more than 5m on a player really p%sses me off .fair enough we are only allowed 25 players in squad but we need a number 9 and im sorry but a french guy on a free simply wont suffice

Agree1 Disagree3

".....oh, and look who we've just signed Obertan" You make it sound like Obertan is the signing of the century. Come on man he was the worst MF in Man U. Still I am happy that we are at least signing someone. {Ed004's Note - Do not judge him yet, he has shown flashes of brilliance, and there is not many players in the League that would start ahead of Valencia, Nani, Rooney and Hernandez. I have a feeling with some game time and confidence at Newcastle he will excel}

Agree3 Disagree2

People like me need to get a grip then? Is that so i change my way of thinking, so i fall in with the masses who don't see the bigger picture, and moan that we are not spending millions on players that are average. And yes, we should have £50 million plus to spend, but this has been hampered by the excesive over spending of the past, that led to huge debts. Debts that need to be paid off. If we were do go and spend in the manner that some fans would like, we would be back to square one very quickly, with the threat of no club to support........so forgive me for not falling in line with your way of thinking, i just think that you are very wrong.

Agree1 Disagree0

11 Aug 2011 19:08:18
I hope to God we do actually have Enrique's replacement lined up before the Arsenal game. If there's ever a good time to play the Gunners its now whilst they've got so many injuries and I'd hate to jeopardize that by having a makeshift LB. If we just wanted him sold then we should have waited till after the Arsenal (and Sunderland) game before cashing in. I really hope this Dutch lad signs tomorrow but you never know with us. Anyone heard anything?

Believable4 Unbelievable1

If ever there was a good time to play newcastle its now surely

Agree2 Disagree2

What 9 o clock on a thursday night dont be a muppet

Agree1 Disagree1

Pardew is a person and will take newcastle down

Agree1 Disagree3

You will need a left back by the end of today otherwise you won't have a replacement for enrique before arsenal game

Agree1 Disagree0

11 Aug 2011 18:46:11
pardew waffled on about how the 35 million was being spent on the team he said that part of the money was going on an excellent contract for enrique which worked out at 50000 a week for 5 years, which comes to roughly 13.000.000 million. now as enrique has not signed does that mean we will get that money to spend. NOT A F***ING CHANCE

Believable4 Unbelievable1

No, we won't. However there are wages to pay, and that money could go on 2 players over 3/4 year contracts.
Why does some 'fans' think that every penny of every player sale, and the wages saved should be spent on a new player.
I know how we can pay for new players, lets spend all the sponsorship money we have not yet received. I'm sure it will be fine, it's not like we'll nearly go bust and get relegated.................oh, hang on.

Agree2 Disagree1

Soz mate but we havnt spent nowt we are in credit in the transfer market and these guys go back on there word all the time,am not saying get the club hocked up with debt but it would be nice just to push the boat out just once

Agree2 Disagree0

Forget to sign that mr ashley

Agree1 Disagree0

Pardew did not say it would be spent on players he said " he had been assured by MA that the money would be invested in the club".That didn't mean it all had to be spent on transfers (despite right now we have 5 in, more to follow),improving existing players contracts (example Tiote)
and clearly has been used to overcome a problem that hampered us, frozen training pitches during the actic spell last winter.Wise up, the money has been spent well, not frittered away on money grabbing, over hyped players

Agree3 Disagree2

There are still 3 weeks left before the window shuts. Lets see what happens.
And for the clever, witty person who makes comments like 'forget to sign that mr ashley' grow up. I'm guessing you would prefer to support a side who spend huge sums of money on over-rated players. Why not try Liverpool.

Agree1 Disagree0

Maybe if the money had been spent on a great rain drainage system the fiorotina might have continued.

Agree0 Disagree1

If you are not being paid by fat mike you must be a tad simple add the transfer fees up both in and out this year if you can count

Agree0 Disagree0

It woulda been 35m well spent

Agree0 Disagree0

If you can't add up how much we are in debt, and how much this club brings in every year, and see the shortfall, it is you who are simple.
Or we can just spend every penny we have in cash, leaving nothing to pay the staff at the club.....about £1 million a year, so we have over £51 million now for a new player. Get real.

Agree1 Disagree0

Good debate lads, wot its all about

Agree1 Disagree0

How is under ground heating and some sprinkler system going to keep us in the prem lge? we might have the top training ground in the championship come next year, they have had since 31 jan to sort out a forward, answer that one. dont come back with they have tried and it didnt work out they should have had a list as long as ya arm for strikers they have no intrest in getting a number 9 just watch and if am wrong al come on and say.

Agree1 Disagree0

11 Aug 2011 18:42:46
pardew on sky sports news saying we cant compete with the big clubs, our big spending days are over and suggest we arent financially stable. Does anybody else find this incredibly frustrating. We have raised almost £50mil from player sales since january and spent 4.5mil on cabaye. Plus we have the third highest gates in the country not to mention tv and merchandising revenue. Does pardew expect us to believe that we cant compete with stoke, west brom, sunderland, villa or wolves all of whom will probably spend more money than us this summer. So where has all of the money gone? 50 spins on the roullette in aspers for fat shaley is my guess. PSV manager says there has been no bids for pieters and with a new striker being suggested every day it is probable we will start against arsenal with ba and ameobi upfront and god knows who at left back

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Got a horrible feeling Perch will be at left back on Saturday

Agree4 Disagree1

The fact is the top teams Chelsea, Man U, and City either have very wealthy owners that can spend £500 million without blinking, or have huge revenue streams. Then there are the teams who gamble in order to try and compete (Spurs/Liverpool and Villa a few years ago) These teams are playing a high risk game, if they don't qualify for the Champions league they are screwed.

We were one of the gamblers, and we lost. We were screwed.
In a bid to unscrew ourselves we have adopted a policy that attempts to emulate Arsenal, with a sustainable business plan. Whilst this is the ultimate goal, we still need to pay off the huge debts that we had previously run up. Until this is paid off, we need to cut our cloth accordingly.
In a few years time we will see which is the better policy ( i have a feeling it won't be Liverpools, or Spurs).

Agree3 Disagree1

Or right back simmo left poss.

Agree0 Disagree1

Have we ever won a game with perch playing, cus every time i hear his name it just reminds me of the stupid own goal against stoke.

Agree0 Disagree0

Prob R Taylor RB Simmo LB

Agree0 Disagree0

Could'nt agree more, eventually real footballers will twig they may get more cash at these clubs but they actually dont play much football in exchange.Look at Given,Milner,SRP for example.

Have to be honest im anoyed about enrique going to liverpool he said he wants to play champions league football liverpool dont evebn have champions league football

Believable6 Unbelievable0

We all know, so enrique will be in for a shock when they get relegated. lol. No but they def won't get CL.

Agree1 Disagree0

If you believed the champions league rubbish, you'll believe anything. He said that, as champions league clubs tend to spend a lot on wages. What he really meant to say is.......i'll go to any club willing to pay me a lot more. At least it would be honesty for a change.
I can't wait for the LFC house of cards to come tumbling down. No champions league next season, and the £100 million + that they have spent will be a millstone around their necks. In swoop the vultures for their best players, and relegation the season after.

see weve just loaned out tavernier to carlisle, typical weve got so few defenders and lose 2 in a day,48 hours before big kick off.even if we were to sign someone before saturday surely they wouldnt be able to do themselves justice.
another cock up by nufc enrique should not have been allowed to leave until after the sunderland game and after a replacement was bought...del

As a LFC supporter I wondered if someone could give me their thoughts on Enrique. IS he a good player?

And here's hoping a club like yours finally gets rid of Cashley and you get an owner the fans deserve in someone who shows the same passion for the team and city as the fans and not somoene who is just there to try and make a profit

With £41mill from Liverpool alone you would of thought he would of given Pardew a lot more of the money

thanks

RedDan

Believable2 Unbelievable0

He's a top notch left back mate, you got a bargain for £6m. He would quite easily have been at home in the Barca team, it's a travesty he's not in the Spain team, no doubt he will be called up next month now he plays for a big name team.
gutted to see him leave, but he never wanted to stay so we had to cash in.

Agree1 Disagree0

I would say he is the second best Left back in the Premiership behind Cole and on par with Baines. Great going foward and defending also has alot of pace which gets him out of trouble I'd say the weakness in his game is he plays himself into trouble quite alot trying to be clever instead of doing the simple thing.

Agree0 Disagree0

hi there , im a gers fan and i have been hearing a lot about peter lovenkrands coming to rangers , i am just wondering if anyone has heard anything ? cheers

11 Aug 2011 14:29:23
Mackems look like signing Krankjar from spurs we should get him in on loan.Brilliant player very underrated. We need proven class.

{Ed042's Note - Been quoted 10 to 12 mil for him no chance}

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Hope they get him with gyan going the other way lol.

Agree4 Disagree4

Aparently they have money to spend still just got rid of Mccarney he was a big earner and malbranques wages freed up,they will make a big signing.

Agree5 Disagree2

Not to mention Nosworthy, Angeleri and possibly Ferdinand and Gordon, we have money just need some players to get off the wage bill then should possibly get Krankjar on loan and one good striker as we need cover for Gyan when he goes to the african cup of nations in jan. I expect newcastle to make a couple of signings, a left back and another striker, don't think you will get Bendtner as he won't go for less than 10m, Long has gone to west brom, erdnic is staying at PSG, Pardew needs to act fast I think

Agree4 Disagree0

Its good to see a Mackem on hear with some light-hearted banter.

Agree2 Disagree0

Shame it doesn't happen enough mate, we get too many of your lot just being t*ssers on our page, but it works both ways, nice to have some serious banter every so often though with your rivals

Have you seen the FIFA/UEFA English most successful clubs rankings list on there websites. How on earth are Sunderland not only above the toon but also Chelsea?.Does anyone know how it works.Quicker if you search here via other clubs then middlesbrough and someone has posted the table there.

Col

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Easy because Sunderland have a better history than newcastle and chelsea, league tables don't lie.Dosn't mean they are a bigger club although they are bigger than newcastle now just means they have pedigree.

Agree2 Disagree0

LEAGUE TABLES DON'T LIE,PREMIER OR FIFA LOL BLACK CATS TOP DOGS.

Agree2 Disagree1

We have only ever got 4 league titles along with chelsea unlike scumberland with 6

Agree0 Disagree0

Is a makem using my signature? I think they are.....those clever witty.....inbreds.
Col

Agree1 Disagree2

Sunderland have been the top flight champions 6 times and runners up 5 times
newcastle top flight winners 4 times runners up 2 times. that makes sunderland more successful over the two clubs histories

Agree2 Disagree1

Did you not look at the all time PL table?
SAFC 18th just behind COVENTRYand you have the gaul to say your are ahead of NUFC at 8th.
NUFC have played in CL and UEFA cups
SAFC ??
Look at the facts.

Agree0 Disagree2

Look at the fact?the facts are in black and white(well red and white) sunderland have a better history than newcastle.Trust a newcastle fan to pull keegans 90s era out the bag, proves they have no history before or since. The premiership is still a new league as we are talking overall history not history of the premier league so stop painting over the cracks, sunderland are the bigger team historically.

Agree1 Disagree0

Once again the league has been going for longer than 20 years, before Abramovich at Chelsea and life before Keegan

Agree0 Disagree0

Doesn't overall history include NUFC cup winners 6 times losing finalist 7 SAFC 2 wins losing finalist 2.
Silly me to raise this part of our respective club historical achievements. I can see if we add this to your dismissal of the 20 years of PL ,CL & UEFA cup then you have bent the historical facts to justify your bigger team claim.

Agree0 Disagree1

11 Aug 2011 14:11:14
I've got a bad feeling about this Enrique deal to Liverpool going through just as Shane Ferguson starts training again and is expected to be fit for the Arsenal game I hope we,re not planning on relying on him as our LB don't get me wrong I'm a huge fan of this kid he has great ability and an incredible attitude towards the game but I prefer him as a LM and it's a huge amount of pressure to fill Jose's boots on young shoulders.
Also the fact that PSV have said they want to keep Peiters.

:SC-NUFC:

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Yea but we want to keep jose and that's not gonna happen If the dutch lad wants to leave he will

ED, you heard anything about this young Macedonian we are interested in?

He is going on trial with Crystal Palace and then Watford but his agent has said we are sniffing around?

Geo

{Ed042's Note - Thats all I have heard myself mate, know nothing about the lad hes Macedonian, 16 and plays right wing, thats literally all I know of him}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think he is a free transfer as well but there saying he has the potential to be the next Goran Pandev.

Geo

Agree0 Disagree0

Was close to moving to Barcelona at the age of 15 only to decide against it due to the fact his parents would have to move and they didn't want to but now he's 16 he's decided it's time to leave his country and find a club.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Aug 2011 13:46:44
now that enrique seems to be off to liverpool, has the deal been anticipated and a deal for pieters already in place?

with tavernier going out on loan it doesn't look like we've got any real cover seen as ferguson is out injured. surely something must be in place in terms of a replacement before the arsenal game

Ed, If Jose goes are we likely to bring in a LB today or tomorrow as we need one for arsenal game

{Ed042's Note - Yes would imagine so mate, Jose deal wasnt held up because of wages or fee in the end, looks like it was held up because of Newcastle trying to secure a replacement, and with Tavernier going on loan today too it all points to a deal being all but done}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Where's tav going on loan ed?

{Ed042's Note - Carlisle, initial one month loan, may be longer}

Agree0 Disagree0

Just a thought but I think he might need to play Jonas left back on saturday as I cant see anyone.been brought in within 24 hours, especially from abroad

(NufcSmith)

Agree1 Disagree0

You may not be far away with that assumption.

When Argentina used him as a wing back at the World Cup he wasn't too bad.

Defo need a permanent left back in though.

Geo

Agree1 Disagree1

Marveaux can play left back also as could Gosling and Ferguson is now back in Training.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Aug 2011 11:05:14
Guys, Enrique is off. £6m fee agreed with Liverpool and he is due to have medical today

I can't believe we are letting him go for this cheap. Let's hope we can secure Pieters pronto, otherwise I shudder to think who will be playing left back against Arsenal as Shane Ferguson is injured.

Geo

Believable2 Unbelievable0

James Perch or Ryan Taylor, that's who.
maybe Tamas Kadar, not sure what's happened to him pre-season, would've expected him to fill the 4th CB position until someone comes in, allowing him to go on loan.

Agree1 Disagree0

Sky news saying bothe clubs agree on 'confidentiality clause'........whats all that about?

Agree0 Disagree0

James Perch (hopeless) and Tamas Kadar are both injured as well.

If we don't get anyone in it will have to be Simpson left back and R.Taylor right back.

Brilliant. (can anyone hear my sarcastic undertones)?

Geo

Agree1 Disagree0

I woukd say jonas mate only cos he has experiance there for argentina

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed042's Note - Shane Ferguson took part in full training today}

Agree0 Disagree1

That's good to hear about Ferguson, thought he was out and also Gutierrez at lb could be a (temporary) option.

Geo

{Ed042's Note - Have you seen him play there mate? Id rather let my nan have a go at LB Gervinho would rip him to shreds}

Agree1 Disagree1

Marveaux LB heard he's alright playing in that position.

Agree0 Disagree1

Gutierrez played right back at the World Cup and he actually did a job.

His usual position is left wing so why couldn't he do the same and drop back to lb?

Defo would rather have a replacement obviously.

Does anybody else get the feeling that Shola is our NEW striker that Puppet Pardew has been banging on about? Shola is the luckiest footballer that has ever lived

Believable7 Unbelievable1

11 Aug 2011 08:26:04
Guys I was watching the Scotland game last night and was really impressed with Danny Wilson at left centre back. He is left footed and what I like about him was he wasn't hoofing the ball upfield at every opportunity. (like a lot of Scottish defendres)

Instead he got the ball down and passed and also because he is left footed it gave the defensive line better balance than usual.

My point here is we are short on cover at the back and I can't see him getting a game for Liverpool just now. There have been noises of a loan deal to Rangers but I think we should get in there and maybe sort out a loan, especially if they are still in talks with us for Enrique.

You never know, Liverpool might be interested in selling and I think he could be one for the future.

Geo

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Sorry m8 but this scottish Defendres...is he french pmsl

11 Aug 2011 01:24:42
Jose Enrique joining Liverpool,6 mil done deal. Is that how excited you get,one of your players takes a shot for France and its the talk of the toon. When you've got players like Suarez one of the best in world,Downing,Adam,Henderon,Kuyt,Agger,Kelly,Lucas,Maxi,Mereiles,Pepe Reina, and when Gerrards fit in september then you could get excited,oh and the goal Machine Andy Carroll, and prob 1 of Cahill or Dann.As that made your day,a player starting in a friendly and a player having a shot.Your sinking faster then Arsenal.Chop Chop.

Believable1 Unbelievable8

Hold up... were replacing Enrique with Hollands first choice left back who's only 22, Cabaye and Tiote would both get into your team, you's wanted Marveaux but we took him from under your noses, we have Hollands new no1 goal keeper and you's gave us 35m for a player who scored 13 goals in the Premier league last season He'll not beat that because as you's will find out he aint a goal machine he's too injury prone

When we have spent over the odds for over rated players we will be contacting you. Oh, hang on........we have been there and bought the T shirt, and the only place that Liverpool will be going is down.
It will not happen this season, but the amount of cash you have spent, will bite you on the behind.
If i am being completely honest, i would prefer the type of midfield we have (fast skillful Ben Arfa/Marveaux/Obertan/Vukic/Cabaye/Tiote/Gosling/Barton/Jonas compared with the one dimensional plodders you have.
Defence, we are similar i would say (decent but not brilliant). In attack Liverpool are stronger (but you would expect that considering you have spent a massive amount on them).

Kenny bought the title in the days that you could do that. Now, he is trying to do the same, but with the bigger sides Man U, Man City, Chelsea being able to attract the best players, you lot are picking up the scraps. No Champions league again this season for you = a club in big trouble.

Downing? That's 20 million you've wasted on a one trick pony. Waste of money. Henderson? 16 million you've wasted on a bag of rubbishe. Waste of money. Carroll? Don't get me wrong he's good but if you'd bothered to wait for 6months, you'd have prob been able to get him for half of that. Waste of money. Most of your signings since Dalglish took over have been average at best and your just flushing money that could be spent on good players down the drain. Hope your happy without eurpoean football next year aswell.

Didn't Arsenal get Champions League football and you's have what?
Also who's paid £16 million for Henderson I'd rather have Cairney(Hull) or Lansbury(Arsenal) than him and just like us Sunderland having a good chuckle at you's.
Goal machine Carroll please stop this more like drinking machine.

I disagree with the bitter geordie, No one has said you are signing that young left back from Holland, you interested, 2nd Liverpool have made some really good signings who need time to gel and 3rd even though I don't like Carroll much, I think he will do brill for Liverpool
