So McClaren appointed to the board. Does that mean he gets to attend the meeting which decides whether he gets sacked if he underperforms?

They clearly think they have their man. Hopefully it means we will see more happen on the transfer front.

I intend to give McC my full backing, as i've said here before, I think he's our most credible manager since SBR. I just don't see the logic in having him on the board. the same goes for Bobby Moncur.
In theory it would mean they have a say in how the club is run from top to bottom, but I don't see them being involved that much. It also means the McC can go to the next board meeting and put forward a vote for lifting the media ban if he wanted. Somehow doubt that will happen.
