Pards annoying me again. They've obviously not been trying anything new in training. Colback seems to be set piece taker though apart from actually being able to occasionally clear the first man, he is woeful.
We have plenty of other good players who should be given a try at a set piece but have not been given so.

Another season will go by without scoring from a corner. We are more dangerous from throw ins!
on another note I'm a bit concerned de jong is still absent, he's missed a lot of football since his collapsed lung.

Off to my first game of the season. I know it is only a friendly but the hairs on the back of my neck are standing up. This is the best feeling in the world. The optimism, the excitement, the anticipation. Whatever heartbreak, glory or otherwise comes our way, you can not beat this time of year.

In the words of the late sir Bobby.
“What is a club in any case?"……….
…. and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love. ”

What you reckon about the performance then after being blinded with SD advertising along with W. A

I was walking round a shopping mall in Sydney yesterday thinking how lucky you all are to have a sports direct in eldon square. I was in desperate need of a cut price pair of trainers, last seasons away top and a multi pack of white socks and had to go to 3 separate shops!

Lucky You need put water on your skin
when you come out to stopn the crawling feeling
Me none of my family have bought anything from SD since the day KK left

It has its purpose but not for me & I don't think I am alone

Performance was ok for a pre-season friendly. Another good game for Cabella, Janmaat was impessive and some nice football at times. I don't go to look at the advertising so it does not bother me.
Looking forward to next Sunday

In.
Once pardew has found a buyer for Ben arfa (who is hoping to be sold for a fee upwards of £10 mil) he will focus his attention on trying to land arsenals Joel Campbell (centre forward/ winger) on loan. ( it is thought Wenger would prefer he is loaned to a premier league club where he will get game time). Lacazette is (supposedly) keen on a move to Newcastle as he has heard it is a stepping stone on to bigger things (same with cabella). Although will only make the move near the end of the transfer window as he would like to see if any other clubs (UCL teams) will make contact with Lyon.
Out.
Tim krul- future is unclear. Many clubs have been linked with him (ac Milan. Barcelona) although both have bought keepers over the summer
Yanga m'bwia- highly rated in France, Marseille are keen but only for a cheap price.
Santon- unhappy and wants out, fallen out with pardew and wants a move back to Italy. Some Russian clubs are interested (I'd say he's a better winger than full back)
Tiote- 50/50, was catching the attention of big teams ( pelagrini (sorry about the spelling) was a big fan) but after a disastrous world cup interest has died down. Could more depends if clubs are missing a player in that position.
Ben arfa- 100% leaving, many clubs are interested but have already stated the asking price is to much for a player riddled with injury's. Lyon are watching
Cisse- bit of a mystery, it's been quiet, after in January clubs in Russia and the gulf were interested, pardew wants as much money as possible and wants as close to £10 mil as possible
( he was subject of a bid in January of £8 mil but was rejected *club unknown*

All very interesting Only. Couple if things can't be right
Pardew has NO day in what price a player will be sold at
2nd HBA if sold will be nearer 5m
KRULL is going nowhere

Have a nice day & keep the rumours coming

Agree0 Disagree0

The santon rumour is rubbish, he's spoken many times about how he enjoys life at newcastle. plus he has a geordie lass now

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are we looking at Campbell we have enough up front, we need to look at defence

Agree0 Disagree0

Ben arfa won't be going to France for 10m unless monaco or PSG buy him. I Expect a deadline day deal like the joey barton deal, qpr a possible destination in part ex for Remy?
Interesting to hear anyone would be interested in any of our defenders with the amount of goals conceded in the past two seasons. indeed one tactic the club could use is to send them out to our competitors on free transfers? let's not forget lads this is a defence that has lost 3-0 at home to a very poor sunderland in the past two seasons.
