I think Pardews interview on Goals on Sunday answered a lot of questions about Newcastle United under Mike Ashley. Premier League survival is his aim, be it in 17th place or 6th place. Top name players will NEVER be signed. Top players already here WILL be sold if the price is right. The club will be run like Wigan Athletic until the same fate as what Wigan suffered hits us too. Rumours of Russians/Americans/Arabs etc interested in buying the club seem like a pipe dream but a dream the fans can only hang onto.

I agree but the reason we did not buy anyone in the summer is because of JFK not Ashley. I'm not defending Ashley but the DOF is basically meant to do everything involved with transfers, whereas before Ashley would give the funds, Carr and pardew would agree on players to sign, Llambias and charnley will do the paperwork and deals. JFK does not have the business mind that Llambias had, and he will undermine Carr. But long term yes we would be much better with a Russian/Arab billionnaire

The people who own RED BULL are looking for a premier league club to buy

Would make more sense if they bought the MK Dons for cheap. Based in Milton Keynes like the F1 head quarters.

I heard about that as well geordietom. if you have twitter, tweet out for the red bull owners to come and buy us, because we are the perfect club for any rich, ambitious owner.

The bit I read about RED BULL says 'they are looking to buy a club in the english premier league to turn into a european champions club ' but the guy who wrote the article said liverpool or everton look like good options for Red Bull. but yeah JT it would be nice for this to happen but things like that don't happen over night m8
