come on let's get real here, we can realistically expect a maximum of 4-6 signings with maybe a couple of young'uns for the future. we will get one marquee signing, the home work will have been done about the signings, and unless someone exceptional and at the right price appears there won't be too much more. Last season was poor the board and management know where we need strengthening, let's hope they do it. But these posting where people are literally playing fantasy football are getting ridiculous. mind you we are not alone, a lot of the clubs have people who are posting ridiculous lists too. The thing is with these posts is no matter who the club brings in it will never be good enough for these fans. Come on be optimistic but also realistic!

To the original post.

THANK YOU!!

I honestly thought I was on the only one who was on planet earth!
Everyone thinks we are this special side with players worth £££££££££, and we will bring in who ever the hell we want.

Please boys get real, the simple facts are,
We don't have Europe!
We finished ina terrible place
We had a terrible season

Forget your excuses they are the facts! - Now you have to think, who would want to come, we could have easily been relegated!
We can't off people the chance of Europa League - this will turn a lot of the players off
We played terrible all year, who would come to a team that can't string passes together or score goals?

AP and MA need to lie outta there arses to bring IN ANYONE in the summer.
And please stop saying that we are going to be signing players that will cost us excess of 13-25 million this WILL NEVER HAPPEN!

We are a special club, the table doesn't say everything. We are one of the biggest clubs in england, that's why we are linked and can attract top players like aubameyang, samba, sakho, ince etc.

3.) 28 May 2013
Sambas wages are too high, dream on.

4.) 28 May 2013
He can take a pay cut

5.) 28 May 2013
And jeez why don't you dream on about lamella, sigurdsson and cavani!

6.) 29 May 2013
He won't take a pay cut. his last two moves have been all about money (Samba i'm on about) Anhzi and QPR even Anhzi said they could not say no to the money they were offered for him, and the player could hardly resit the offer made for him!. pull your head outta your butt!

and no we are nothing special, special teams fight for cups, for the top five. Sorry Newcastle did none of these!

Stop living in fantasy, some fans these days are getting just as deluded as the once's across the river!

7.) 29 May 2013
We finished 5th the season before llast? So we are capable of finishing top 5

8.) 29 May 2013
At least newcastle have done this

9.) 29 May 2013
Why would he take a pay cut.
Both teams have to pay over the odds wages to get players to come to the N. E.
As for getting Cavani etc. same applies, couldn't afford their wages.

10.) 30 May 2013
No for cavani, 1. You wouldn't be able to afford his wages or the transfer fee 2. You are nowhere near a big enough club. 3. You have never enquired about cavani.
