the charlie austin rumour is getting too much press to be true. Look at last season, our deals were done without any one knowing about it. It just isn't the clubs style to let targets be known.

he is what we need though, a proven goalscorer.

you know what I'm saying though J. A move for bamford has already been ruled out before it has begun. I expect we won't get anyone who is a proven goalscorer, maybe andy carroll, not austin or remy.

We need a goalkeeper CB midfielder winger and at least one striker to even be considered as a mid table club.

Newcastle United is the joke of the Premiership League, absolutely no hope.
Every other teams fans like Newcastle because they know they are no threat for anything.

Keep believing & dreaming because that is all there is or watch KK 's team videos.

Why on earth would we need a keeper? Krul (if he goes he SHOULD be replaced but Darlow will be seen as his replacement).
I do agree that the Austin rumour is all naff, why would anyone pay 15 million for austin when Berahino is valued at 20. Berahino is a goalscorer and has proved that 2 years in a row, 29 goals in 2 years from age 18-21. Seems much better value then someone who was playing non-league football at that age. I do believe Austin is a hard worker and brave but at the end of the day it will be about resale value. Buy Berahino for best part of 20 million and if he keeps scoring and gets his england call, his price will double in a couple of years.
Hopefully he would have learned from missing out on Bony a couple of years, we got priced out of that move and his value doubled. But then again its Mike Ashley he doesn't learn he just looks for cheap alternatives

No chance of paying $15m for Austin. This is all a smokescreen and PR to sell season tickets. This is hoe far we have fallen, getting excited about signing a chamionship player. Jordan Rhodes is untested but worth $8m

The worst thing is that 'homegrown players' are doubling if not more in price. I mean i'm not the biggest fan of having all french and dutch players, but if they are good enough and show effort i'm all for it. People seem to think the reason we were naff is because the players didn't care enough, say we signed Austin. Why would he care about Newcastle anymore then say Perez?
The key is to have a coach to motivate players to do there best, a manager can completely change a team. When adkins got sacked at saints everyone questioned it but then pochettino came in and revitalised the team.
On a side note I would take Rhodes at 8 mill, that is a bargain compared to Ulloa at 8 mill and McCormack at 11mill.
