Supposed final 4 man shortlist apparently:
Remi Garde
Michael Laudrup
Patrick Vieira
Steve McClaren

I'll be disappointed if we don't even try for de boer, if west ham are, same with Bielsa who is also on their short list.

I'm not sure how this shortlist works? I've been a headhunter for 15 years and when a shortlist is presented you have at least 3 rounds of interviews. the people on the shortlist have already been screened and the appetite for the role assessed.
So what I am struggling with is how are they planning to make a decision by Friday. Unless they have already made up their minds and the other 3 are what I call make weights.

Having said that if I present a shortlist of 4 I usually put a dud on the list so the other 3 look brilliant. Nufc seem to have their process the wrong way round?

It wouldn't surprise me if nufc hire the dud!

Might I also add that a shortlist constitutes candidates that actually are interested in interviewing, not 3 people who aren't interested but give the impression you are at least doing your due dilligence.

The dream team of McLaren and Carver it is. after 8 years of contributing to the rumours site, it is over for me.
